Terms of Use

These terms apply to the TCG Card Scanner iOS app (“TCG Card Scanner”, “we”), developed by Arsalan Golestanekh. By using TCG Card Scanner you agree to them and to Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which also applies.
1. The service
TCG Card Scanner helps you identify trading cards, see estimated market prices, organize a collection and find listings in third-party stores. Features may change over time.
2. Prices and information are estimates
Card identification is done by AI and prices come from third-party market data and store listings. They can be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. TCG Card Scanner is for informational purposes only and is not financial or investment advice. Always check a card and its price before buying or selling.
3. TCG Card Scanner Pro subscription
- Pro is an auto-renewable subscription (weekly or yearly). Prices are shown in the app before you buy.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the period.
- If a free trial is offered, it converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless cancelled at least 24 hours before it ends. Any unused part of a trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.
4. Third-party stores and affiliate links
Links to eBay, TCGplayer and other stores take you to services we don’t control; purchases there are between you and the seller under that store’s terms. Some links are affiliate links and we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you.
5. Acceptable use
Don’t misuse the app: no reverse engineering, scraping or automated access to our services, no attempts to bypass limits or security, and no sharing of unlawful or infringing content through shared decks.
6. Your content
You keep ownership of the photos and collection data you create. You grant us the limited permission needed to process them to provide the service (for example, to identify a card or to host a deck you choose to share).
7. Intellectual property
The app, its design and original artwork belong to us. Game names and card names are trademarks of their respective owners; TCG Card Scanner is independent and not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by any game publisher, eBay or TCGplayer.
8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for losses from purchases, sales or decisions made using information in the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.
9. Termination
You can stop using TCG Card Scanner at any time. We may suspend access for misuse. Sections that by their nature should survive (such as 2, 7 and 8) survive termination.
10. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; the “Last updated” date will change and continued use means you accept the updated terms. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, USA, except where local consumer law requires otherwise.
